FluxTone Model 3                           Cone, Voice coil, and Spider Assembly
"V-30"                                                                     Factory Original "Celestion Vintage 30" parts

This is a very musical speaker, with a lot of complex overtones

      FluxTone "Model 3"  50 Watts rms, 8 or 16 Ohms, 12 inch, 15 pounds
Much has been written about this Famous cone and voice. I do not think I can add much
to that litany of praise, other than to say it is a very "Hearty Speaker" with a lot of class.

This is the voice of an original Celestion Vintage 30.                This is the voice of a FluxTone Model 3.
These images are relative.                                 As you can see the pattern is nearly the same.

         Celestion model (Vintage30) 60 watt 8 Ohm                        FluxTone "model 3" 50 watt 8 Ohm

Frequencies from a guitar speaker below 60hz are influenced more by the cabinet structure than the speaker, and frequencies above 6khz too high for any 12 inch cone to reproduce in a way that can be heard over the normal sounds coming from that speaker (that's why there are tweeters). That being factual, we say "ignore" the data on the graphs below 60hz and above 6khz because they have no bearing on this test.
